Dr. Darrin Anderson talks about the Urban League | Midday Break Room w/ Tiffany Bacon - 4.22.26

Dr. Darrin Anderson is the president and CEO of The Urban League of Greater Philadelphia, an organization that empowers Black Americans and other historically underserved communities to achieve social equity, economic independence, civic power, and full civil rights. The Community Scholarship Program is something that the Urban Leagues has had in place for Philadelphia High School Seniors since 2003. Since that year, the Urban League of Philadelphia has been proud to award over $1.2 million in scholarships to more than 650 deserving students with the help and generosity of community sponsors and partners. Beyond financial assistance, their scholars receive invaluable mentoring and financial literacy coaching to ensure their success in college and beyond. On May 21st @ The Event Center at Rivers Casino, The Urban League will be hosting their 2nd Annual Comminity Gala. This event will take place from 6pm-10pm.
