Dr. David McLennan, professor of political science and director of the Meredith Poll at Meredith College, joins Tony to discuss new budget provisions that would strip more appointment powers from Gov. Josh Stein, including a measure that would prevent governors from re-nominating cabinet picks if the Senate fails to hold a confirmation vote, a step McLennan says is likely to face a legal challenge.
