Dr. David Peyton

"It may feel like magic, but it's not...it is just physics..." on this episode of "You Will Understand When You're Younger" we invite Dr. David Peyton to join us. Dr. Peyton is a professor of chemistry at Portland State University and a longtime member of our Quaker meeting. Since we know that Dr. Peyton was involved in the development of a drug for malaria, we wanted to hear his thoughts about the roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccine. Is it safe? Would he take it if given the chance? Besides that, we hear about the legacy of a bean dish in our Quaker community, what one of our young people think about the name of Jesus being so proudly displayed at the riot in Washington D.C, and how science and Christianity can co-exist.
