Dr. David Speicher — University C19 mandates and testing

Dr. David J. Speicher is an assistant professor of Biology & Health Sciences at Redeemer University in Hamilton, Ontario. David holds a PhD in virology and has extensive background in the detection of infectious diseases using molecular biology techniques. His research focuses on detecting infectious diseases using salivary biomarkers and he served as director of a covid-19 testing facility.    S.A.M members Brandon Paradoski and Sheldon Munroe sit down with Dr. David Speicher to discuss the different approach Redeemer University took with respect to covid-19 mandates in comparison to other Canadian universities. David shares his experience running a covid-19 testing facility and the limitations of testing, as well as his faith moving through loss of employment because of his views.
