DELON CANTERBURY, Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and Founder of GeriatRX, a Deprescribing Accelerator Program based on the premise that the majority of patients taking 15-18 medications annually are aged over 65, preventable medication errors cost nearly $21 billion dollars annually, and the ongoing inappropriate , HARMFUL, use of medications in the senior population. Too many Americans are dying from harmful medications and wasting thousands of their hard earned dollars on unnecessary prescriptions. Over 275,000 people die each year due to medication mismanagement.
