At the same university, he currently holds the position of Professor in the Department of Veterinary Diagnostics and Production Animal Medicine (VDPAM) in the College of Veterinary Medicine. Before that, he has served as a private veterinary consultant and as a technical services veterinarian for several big companies. Dr. Holtkamp’s research focuses on the management of infectious swine diseases, biosecurity, disease risk assessments, and the economics of animal health and diseases.
