He is also a Past President of the American Association for Hand Surgery, Past President of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and Past Chairman of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) specialty committee of Plastic Surgery and the examination board in Plastic Surgery.
