Dr. Ernesto 'Todd' Mireles on "War of the Flea: Fight for Xicano Studies."

Dr. Mireles holds a PhD in American Studies from Michigan State University. He is the author of the book "Insurgent Aztlán (Asst-lan): The Liberating Power of Cultural Resistance," which won a 2020 International Latino Book Award. He has served as faculty in the Ethnic Studies department at Northern Arizona University and co-director of the Social Justice and Community Organizing Masters program at Prescott College. On a side note, he was also my Editor and Chief at a Community College Newspaper called The Lookout in 1991, when I served as the Arts and Leisure Editor there, oh so many years ago.
