From 2010 until 2017, he worked as a full-time veterinarian for JBS foods in an integrated system with an emphasis on swine animal health and production management. From 2017 until 2020, he did his Ph.D. at Iowa State University under the supervision of Dr. Linhares. Since 2020, he is a post-doc research associate in the Veterinary Diagnostic and Population Animal Medicine Centre at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa US. He focuses on the applied use of veterinary diagnostic test results and epidemiology concepts to make informed decisions for disease prevention and control.
