Dr. Glenda Glover is the former President of Tennessee State University (TSU). She recently released a new book titled How Dare You, which chronicles her firsthand account and years-long fight to secure equitable funding for TSU. The book details how the State of Tennessee underfunded TSU by more than $544 million under the Morrill Act of 1890. A 2023 federal review further identified an additional $2.1 billion shortfall over three decades.
