GUEST BIO Dr. Jan Yager is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Sociology Department at John Jay College of Criminal Justice/CUNY. Since Fall 2014, Dr. Yager has taught criminology, victimology, and sociology courses at John Jay. Previously she taught at U of Connecticut, Penn State, St. John's U, Temple U, and other colleges and universities. Dr. Yager has a Ph.D. in sociology from CUNY Graduate Center, an M.A. in criminal justice from Goddard College Graduate Program, and she did a year of graduate work in art therapy at Hahnemann Medical College.
