Dr Jennifer Carroll MacNeill FG TD - Minister for Health. Cois Nore Cancer Support Centre will officially open its new home, Cois Nore House, on the Waterford Road, Kilkenny, this morning. The opening will be performed by Dr Jennifer Carroll MacNeill, marking a significant milestone for cancer support services in Co. Kilkenny. The new centre represents a major step forward in meeting the growing psycho-social needs of individuals and families living with cancer. As described in ‘In it together', “Every single day, in two homes in County Kilkenny, a bomb goes off: that’s what it feels like to receive a cancer diagnosis.” Cois Nore House has been designed as a healing space where shock, fear and uncertainty can be met with compassion, expertise and community solidarity.
