Dr. Joe Lex is a retired emergency medicine doctor of 45 years, a Philadelphia author, and historian. He is the author of the book, All Bones Considered: 52 Laurel Hill Women. This book is a prepublication collection honoring the legacies of remarkable women buried in Philadelphia’s historic Laurel Hill Cemetery. Most of whom have deep Philadelphia Roots. Dr. Lex joins the show to talk about some of the prominent Black Women who are buried in the Lauren Hill cemetery.
