Kan man dække krigen i Gaza, hvis man har skrevet under på en erklæring, der stadfæster, at Israel begår et folkedrab i Gaza? Ikke ifølge DRs egne retningslinjer, og derfor sidder over 30 journalister fra DR – heriblandt flere prominente nyhedsnavne – lige nu i saksen. Får det konsekvenser for disse journalister? Det mener flere, at det skal have, og de tager i denne uges afsnit debatten med en redaktionschef fra DR. Vi vender også en video her fra matriklen, der er gået viralt. Nemlig den, hvor Weekendavisens chefredaktør, Martin Krasnik, bliver passet op af den pro-palæstinensiske debattør Omar Shargawi. Var det for meget? Eller er det præcis den disciplin, som journalister dagligt selv gør brug af? Og så raser diskussionen om medieombudsmanden videre. Berlingskes chefredaktør, Tom Jensen, er bestemt ikke tryg ved tanken om en statsligt finansieret ombudsmand, og i en kommentar i sin egen avis spørger han, om der er en sammenhæng mellem afdækning af Samsam-sagen og politikernes ønske om at holde medierne i ørerne med en statslig ombudsmand. Tom Jensen kommer i studiet og debatterer med en tilhænger af en ombudsmand, mediejuristen Heidi Helveg. Sidst, men ikke mindst, spørger vi, om Danmarks svar på mediemogulen Rupert Murdoch, Jørgen Ejbøl, er så usympatisk, som han altid fremstår i medierne – senest i et interview med Berlingske – eller om det bare er et panser?
