Dr. Karen Dukes discusses her new book - The Teacher in Me

Dr. Karen Dukes has been an educator for over 40 years; however, over 30 years ago, Karen’s biggest dream and accomplishment was when she established her own private program, Dukesway Academy. At this time, Dukesway Academy is a 501© (3) non-profit organization that was established in Georgia as a community service. She felt the need to continue working with students after school hours and summers through mentoring high school dropouts and tutoring students of all ages. With Dukesway Academy, Inc., Community and Educational Services, Karen is making a difference by creating charity events/services, assisting with performing arts camps, being a consultant to mentor groups, foster care programs, and daycares centers.
