Dr. Ken Scott is the President of Beech Companies, an organization whose mission is to help strengthen and sustain a healthy Cecil B. Moore community while enhancing and improving the quality of life for the residents it serves through effective action and communication. Dr. Ken is also the producer of Jazz on the Avenue event: "Jazz on the Ave” is a lively community festival in North Philadelphia that brings people together for a full day of live music, culture, food, and family fun along the iconic Cecil B. Moore Avenue between Broad Street and 17th Street. In partnership with the 22nd Police District and in collaboration with the Summer aBroad Block Party, this year’s event will feature exciting performances, local vendors, community resources, and activities for all ages. Dr. Scott joined the show to further discuss what The Jazz on the Ave Event entails.
