Dr. Kimberly A. Gordon Biddle is a SCBWI PAL-listed author of two picture books, LaDonna Plays Hoops and LaDonna’s Easter in Paris.  She loves music and singing, so both books have original sheet music as back matter. Her stories are inspirational and heartfelt and bring forth emotions. A third picture book, Darlene’s Double Dutch Dreams, is in production with her publisher, MacLaren-Cochrane Publishing. Currently, she’s also venturing into middle grade novels.  As an African-American female, she writes “own voice” stories that are relatable for all. Her first picture book was a finalist in the 2019 American Fiction Awards.  She also received career awards from both alma maters, Stanford University, where she received a PhD in Child and Adolescent Development, and the University of Redlands, where she received a Double BA in Psychology and Music.
