Dr. Leslie Gruis

Dr Leslie Gruis is the author of Privacy: Past, Present and Future, a book every American should read. She worked for the National Security Agency (or NSA) for 30 years. As an insider, Leslie contributed to the debate on alleged privacy abuses - and their prevention. She also advised on how to preserve national security while protecting the privacy rights of citizens. Her last two assignments were at US Cyber Command and the National Intelligence Council. Leslie's interests are privacy, and mentoring K-12 Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) students.
