LaMaria was founded as a result of Dr. Vazquez being underwhelmed with the over-the-counter feminine care products she was having to recommend to her patients. These products have little-to-no scientific backing, are filled with unnatural chemicals, and come in lackluster packaging that contributes to the harmful taboo that female and vaginal wellness items are shameful.
