His recent work includes Before the UN Sustainable Development Goals: A Historical Companion, which came out in 2022 with Oxford University Press, and just out this month, The Unseen Leader: How History Can Help us Rethink Leadership.Gutmann has a Ph.D. in History from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University, USA and an Executive MBA from IE Business School, Spain.
