Morski travniki in podvodni gozdički so pomembni vodni ekosistemi, od katerih so odvisni številni morski organizmi. Utrip življenja je v slovenskem morju tudi zaradi njih pestrejši, kot bi si morda mislili, in še vedno lahko preseneti celo strokovnjake.
