Dr. Mo and I got into some of everything including how she came to be a psychologist at Harvard University and what that was like as a black woman, her time at UNC Chapel Hill that impacted how she felt about being black and the pride that comes with it, the thoughtful conversation she had with Bravo executives prior to filming about the portrayal of Black women in tv and how Bravo was not only willing to listen but also responded positively by making an effort to diversify the film crew.
