Dr Neil Strong – promoting the flora and fauna of the rail network

Did you know that the railway provides one of nature’s unique corridors, abundant with plants and wildlife? Far from being isolated boundary strips of land, the trackside is alive with flora and fauna. This unique habitat provides an environment for both rare and unique plant life.
