Dr. Phil

Daytime TV – it’s a subject we’ve broached a couple times on AHC Podcast, but this episode is about one of the heavy hitters of the afternoon antics.  Dr. Phil has been on our TV’s for over 20 years and has made a name for himself for a number of reasons.  In the beginning, it seemed he was all for helping couples in need, a troubled teen, or a drug addict looking for help.  As time wore on, the show topics got wilder and tales of potential exploitation have clouded the once clear image.  But is Dr. Phil really out to expose people in their darkest hour, or is he really looking to offer a helping hand to those that could use it?  We’ll dive into this and much, much more on this episode of AHC Podcast.         Citations: Batheja, A.
