Dr Ricci-Jane Adams - Intuitive Intelligence as a Strategy of Decolonisation

In this episode, I share more about my PhD thesis, and my 30+ years as a practitioner and philosopher of decolonisation. Beginning in the 90's during my Theatre degree, I studied Augusto Boal, Ntozake Shange, Maria Irene Fornes, and progressive feminist and postcolonial approaches to critique Western dominant ideologies. My doctorate took this further, exploring the form of magical realism as a public site for a political discourse of decolonisation and the cultural mediation of binaries: self and other, margin and centre, life and death, Western and non-Western, pragmatic and spiritual.
