Dr Sam Heiks: Direct Primary Care in OH

Special Guest Dr Sam Heiks, Family Physician in Blufton, OH will enlighten our listeners about Direct Primary Care.  He will give his background from Kansas to Wisconsin to Ohio and discuss how he decided to shift toward the Direct Primary Care model.   The introduction to the show will include comments about a Health Care blog, tweets and medical review and discussion, starting with patient blogs/tweets, medical student blogs, physician blogs/tweets, health care non-physician blogs/tweets and Dr Synonymous blog.  Discussion includes comments about past, present and future health care issues and system changes.  Human centering in health care and patient-physician relationships will be a component of reviews and interviews.
