From a young age, Scott understood the importance of branding, choosing distinctive board colors that made him unforgettable in the lineup. His love for both sports meant that when the waves were flat, you could always find him skating the local halfpipe.Despite not initially planning on a pro surfing career, a spontaneous decision to enter the OP Pro East during a summer break catapulted him to the top of the world rankings, leading him to join the world tour. After several successful years on the tour, Scott made a pivotal decision to return to school and pursue a career as an orthodontist.
