It may not feel like it but summertime is over, school is officially underway here in Scottsdale. I'm sure there were many mixed emotions as we got all our little ones out the door to start this new school year. Excitement, worry, fear encouragement and a whole slew of emotions. But one man in particular feels all of that and more as he takes on all 22,000 students in our district. Dr. Scott Menzel is starting his 5th year as SUSD superintendent striving to make each year better than the rest. This year's mantra is Elevate Excellent- Reaching New Heights Together.
