Hope at Gun Point Dr. Steve Dorsey www.delcorazon.org   What does it feel like to have your life threatened at gun point? Dr. Steve Dorsey knows what that feels like. Dr. Dorsey is the Director of Del Corazon de Jesucristo, a medical ministry that developed from a short missions trip to the Dominican Republic in 1986. At that time, Dr. Dorsey had yet to begin his medical training. That initial mission trip provided the necessary inspiration, vision, and a clear goal for him. He and his wife, Julie, have dedicated their lives to the development of the ministry: to provide hope through salvation in Christ and change lives for eternity. While the vision of Del Corazon continues to evolve and expand, the focus remains the same: evangelism through medicine, dental care, education and sports.
