Dr Synonymous: Connecting Patients and Doctors Episode 12

Dr Synonymous will review a patient blog (Dr. Fatty Finds Fitness), a physician blog, including AFP Community Blog on cultural competence, and his blog about connecting patients and physicians in the Human Centered Health Home. He will discuss web sites he recommends to patients, especially www.lef.org for vitamin, mineral and supplement information. He will mention the nutraceuticals that he tends to recommend for patients. Dr S. will mention literature that may help patients with brain problems such as OCD. He will reflect on his personal physician as an adolescent and early adult. He will mention the AAFP meeting briefly and review some medical factoids as time permits.
