Under his leadership, the company has focused on a novel architecture known as “cat qubits” — a design that embeds error correction directly into the qubits, aiming to significantly reduce the hardware complexity and error rates compared with more conventional quantum-computing approaches. Dr. Peronnin’s work sits at the intersection of deep physics and engineering enterprise.
