Dr Tim Ringrose - Community Building in Healthcare

In this Christmas bonus episode we speak with Dr Tim Ringrose, a Doctor and President of the Royal Society of Medicine's Digital Health Section Council. Tim has over 20 years experience of driving innovation in healthcare; he helped to build Doctors.net.uk, the UK’s leading online doctor community and co-founded Cognitant Group in 2018. He is a mentor for the NHS clinical entrepreneur programme and serves as a non-executive director and adviser for several health technology companies. In the episode we discuss the importance of community building in healthcare. We specifically cover how Tim got involved with Royal Society of Medicine's Digital Health Council, and how he has built communities of industry, clinicians and patients in his work. We also touch on what is coming for healthcare in 2022 and beyond (including his thoughts on healthcare and the metaverse). All views expressed in this episode are of the speakers themselves.
