He received his Bachelor of Science in physiology from Michigan State University and his Medical Degree from Wayne State University where he graduated a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.After a one-year internship at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Dr. Mallon completed a three-year ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee.
