A cada dois dias, as estradas brasileiras provocam mais ou menos a mesma quantidade de vítimas da tragédia ocorrida há nove anos na Boate Kiss, na gaúcha Santa Maria, quando 242 pessoas morreram. “Cerca de 90 a 95% dos acidentes de trânsito têm como causa fatores humanos”, afirma Paula Abreu, líder de Relações Governamentais na área de Segurança no Trânsito da 3M. “Mas é muito importante lembrar que muitos desses fatores humanos são levados por falhas na infraestrutura.” Segundo José Aurélio Ramalho, presidente do Observatório Nacional de Segurança Viária, todo acidente vem precedido de negligência, imprudência e imperícia. “A multa é um acidente que não aconteceu”, afirma ele. “Quando você recebe a multa em casa de excesso de velocidade, naquele momento que está escrito nela, naquela data e horário, você podia estar matando alguém ou morrendo.” Esses e outros insights foram trazidos por Ramalho e Paula neste episódio do podcast Inovação em Pauta, conduzido por Luiz Serafim, head de Marca e Comunicação da 3M.
