Draft Episode for Oct 28, 2022
from One Giant Step Hosted by Audacy
Paul Dottino and Shaun Morash are ready to take One Giant Step with you! The Giants have a west coast matchup in Seattle with the Seahawks on Sunday, but the game preview will have wait. There were no whispers in the wind of an impending Kadarius Toney trade and yet that is exactly what happened on Thursday afternoon as Joe Schoen traded the former first round wideout for a 3rd and 6th round pick from the Kansas City Chiefs. Paul and Shaun discuss how it went wrong for Toney in New York, why this is symbolic of the new regimes expectations for their players, and if this was the precursor for a potential incoming talent for Big Blue. On the game front, the Seahawks are enjoying a career year from veteran Geno Smith, while also getting an offensive spark from rookie running back Kenneth Walker III. Paul and Shaun close out the show with what feels like a methodical approach to improving to 7-1 ahead of the bye-week, a model that has served the Giants well to this point.
