The pure, unfiltered honesty when the greedy petty tyrants that have hijacked the show want something from the American people. The Army just raised the enlistment age to forty two. Not because they suddenly discovered wisdom comes with age. No. Because the kids aren’t showing up. The healthy, energetic eighteen to twenty four year olds looked at the deal that the Pentagon was shoving at them, with its low pay, high chance of getting your legs blown off for Raytheon shareholders and said, “Nah, I’m good. I’ll do Door Dash I’ll be in my safe space staring at my phone.”So now they’re begging forty year old couch potato Dad bodies with mortgages and life insurance. “Hey, buddy, still got that fire in the belly? No? How about heartburn? Close enough sign here.”Think about the numbers. World War Two, sixteen million Americans in uniform. They drafted everybody but the blind and the pregnant. Today? One point three million active duty. That’s it. That’s the entire force protecting the United States. If China and Russia decide to throw a real party, we’ll be scraping the barrel so hard we’ll be enlisting guys who think “PT” means physical therapy.
