Their advocacy work for the LGBTQIA+ community includes testifying at the Texas Capitol and serving on the City of Austin’s LGBTQIA+ Quality of Life Commission. Brigitte was also one of the plaintiffs in the recent successful lawsuit filed by ACLU Texas that blocked the Texas drag ban from taking effect.Most recently, Brigitte made history as the first drag queen to speak at the Texas Democratic Convention.
