meOne of the greatest radio shows ever to hit the airwaves, Dragnet was the story of the Los Angeles Police Dept. using real case files. Dragnet was created, produced, and hosted by Jack Webb, who played the key character in the series, Sgt. Joe Friday. The Red Light Bandit features the story of a released convict who dons a police uniform and terrorizes the city. In The City Hall Bomber, the brother of a condemned man threatens to blow up City hall if his brother isn't released immediately.
