Dragonheart (1996) — "A knight is sworn to valor. His heart knows only virtue."
from The Kulturecast · host Weirding Way Media
Chris and Sean round out a very abbreviated Fantasy Movie Month with that one dragon movie with Sean Connery: Dragonheart. Directed by Rob Cohen, the film stars Dennis Quaid as Bowen, a disillusioned dragon slayer who teams up with Draco, the last dragon, voiced by Sean Connery, to con unsuspecting villages out of their money, and ultimately to take down the tyrant King Einon (David Thewlis). Pete Postlethwaite and Dina Meyer co-star. It's as high concept as '90s fantasy films get. Chris Stachiw, the Doctor of Podcasting, and Sean Liang talk Rob Cohen, Dennis Quaid, Sean Connery, David Thewlis, '90s fantasy, and so much more.
