Welcome to the next episode of the Dragon's Den Podcast. Today we finally return back to South Louisiana with our next guest, Matt Berkins. Matt serves as a fireman out of Slidell, LA. I first met Matt at the LIFT conference, just last year. We spent a good amount of the conference having conversations during breaks and social events and I loved his mindset and the things he was trying to implement, especially being so young in the fire service. What also intrigued me about Matt is that he is a former Ranger and also spent time with doing contract work with the CIA. The leadership lessons learned in that environment will serve him well through the rest of his career. Guys like Matt excite me for how good they could be in the coming years.
