Dragons To Slay with Eric Fleischmann

from The Enragés

In the second episode of The Enragés, host Joel Williamson discusses with Eric Fleischmann their recent piece for C4SS "The End Is the Beginning: Abolition as Communicative Creation" (Renamed "The End is the Beginning: Anarchist Abolitionism as Communicative Creation"). The conversation spans from the juxtaposition of violence and communication to the influence of violent institutions upon people to the importance of the dialectical method to the existing and potential alternatives to statism and capitalism and more. Eric Fleischmann is an undergrad student pursuing a double major in anthropology and philosophy. He has been involved in various capacities with numerous leftist, left-leaning, and labor-oriented organizations—generally ones that promote forms of politico-economic decentralization and democratization and/or degrees of left unity. He has also played in and currently plays in several punk, hardcore, and alternative bands and has released multiple albums. Correction: Keith Preston did not used to write for C4SS. Previously, C4SS was, at times, loosely associated with Preston and Attack the System. This is no longer the case.
