February, for us, is FANTASY FEBRUARY and to kick if off this year, Geek Dad Brien (who is curating this month's films we're talking about) wanted wanted us to take a look at one if the fantasy movies that resonated with him...the 1981 Disney/Paramount c0-production of DRAGONSLAYER. This Film stars Peter MacNicol who plays a sorceror's apprentice who sets off to kill a dragon which has been devouring virgin girls from a nearby kingdom. This film features pioneering stop-motion effects with a very competent cast and classic fantasy backdrop to produce a very under-rated movie.
