Draw Me Nearer

I’m reminded of an old hymn “Draw me nearer” while this song may not be as popular as it once was but our plea is still true. Daily we are faced with the idea of having the perfect formula to succeed but we as believers can never forget the “drawing” of God. The leading of the Holy Spirit.In John 6:44, Christ said “no one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him and I will raise him up at the last dayIn our consistent conversation with Christ we have to ask to be drawn. Draw us closer to You. Draw us closer to Your love. Draw us closer to Your power of healing and truth. Draw us closer to a Godly understanding that yields peace and hope.
