Today I was reminded of a picture I had when I first realised how much God loves me, in which I was a lone yellow flower (my favourite colour)in a field feeling very much loved and nurtured by God. Months later as I was maturing in my Christian walk I was aware of me being represented by a yellow flower again, but this time with a throng of other similar yellow flowers and we were closely surrounding God's throne. I felt that this was a place of worship of God and one that requires our humility in acknowledging our need to be changed into His image to be close to Him. King David expresses this beautifully in his Psalm 139:23-24 "Search me, O God, and know my heart!Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grevious way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting". Once we are assured of God's love for us, let us confidently draw close to Him and enjoy a relationship with Him which requires our humble willingness to change and be increasingly like Him, which is an on-going process throughout our life.
