Dream Catchers - Flying Solo again after TBI - LesPaul

from Z Z Archive 2014 · host Brain Injury Radio

Flying solo again after having a TBI may seem like the most scary and impossible thing EVER with TBI or to dream that anyone who ever suffered a traumatic brain injury on aneurysm, concussion, coma or all the above and more could’ve ever imagined living life again to its fullest again. What do you mean Flying Solo? Are you serious I can barely get out of bed is that flying solo? No, it’s not. But I’m here to say yes you can. I’m a living example. I know many other living examples who have a testimony to the fact that they dared to think differently about their outcome after traumatic brain injury after all the severe injuries that happened to them and yet they never allowed themselves to give up even when they wanted to! What I’m talking about is a very gradual step up to regain your independence to develop a guidance system for your life and a see you reach out and find your true passion in life even if it’s something totally different, even if you never tried it before go for it, go for your dreams! I’m speaking from the heart, I’m speaking from real-life experience, I’ve been in the bottom of the trenches and have been told I wouldn’t make it. No matter what by many people. Now I’m here to prove to you that you can do the same kind of things I did and get out of that slump in life and live your dreams. I’m a dream catcher are you Ill say it again; I am a dream catcher are you! I have proven the world wrong how about me how about you? Try proving your yourself and everyone wrong who are doubters shouters and casters of evil and lies in your life because we as survivors can be a strong a survivor nation of people who are determined to break down the barriers that divide us, and conquer the lie that brain injury survivors cannot return to work cannot live a life to the fullest! Sincerely, Les Paul, the Dream Catcher.
