LOVE IN THE TIME OF PINEAPPLES - HISTORY ON THE RADIO In the 1700s, pineapples were hard to come by. They cost the modern equivalent of $8000, and people would often rent them and carry them around at parties as a status symbol. With that in mind, comes a historical reenactment, of a pineapple deal gone wrong, and the redemption of love and rich fathers.
