It's Christmas Eve and King Julian and the lemurs knock down a red meteor that shoots red ash down on Madagascar. It turns out that the red meteor is Santa's sleigh and the red ash are the hot coals falling down on King Julian for being on the naughty list. When Santa recovers from the crash, he has amnesia.
