Dre’Mail Carothers Commits to Louisville

Dre’Mail Carothers, the elite quarterback from Owensboro Catholic and state championship game hero, has committed to Louisville — a historic move as the first player from his school to sign with a Power Four program. With over 4,000 yards and 49 touchdowns as a junior, Carothers was drawn to Louisville’s development-focused culture, especially after Brian Brohm personally visited his home. The connection to the Brohm brothers, combined with Louisville’s unwavering belief in his potential, sealed the deal. Despite offers from North Carolina and Oregon State, Carothers sees Louisville as the perfect fit to grow, compete for championships, and prepare for the next level — all while putting recruiting behind him to focus on his senior season.
