I talk a lot about the power of your network and how critical it is. My network is my net worth. I curate it, I nuture it and I use it as my source of business and relationships. My guest today, DREW AUSTIN comes from one of those deep personal and business relationships. We were introduced by my friend Brian Altomarie and we took it from there. Chatting on the phone and in person recently at his offices where we connect and and I learned a lot more about his background and what he has created. Drew Austin is the Founder & CEO of Wade & Wendy, a platform powering artificially intelligent recruiters (#AI #recruitment). Prior to Wade & Wendy, Drew was the co-founder of Augmate, venture-backed tech company managing and powering wearable devices in the industrial workplace. Earlier in his career he led business development efforts at Connections of NY, an IT focused executive recruitment firm. Drew is ingrained in the NYC startup ecosystem, a 2015 NYC Venture Fellow, advisor to SXSW Startup Village, and mentor at Starfast Accelerator & Talent Tech Labs. Drew is a grad from Syracuse University, Whitman School of Management, with a Bachelors in Entrepreneurship & Emerging Enterprises.
