DRHRadio with Jo Ellen Cimmino

Currently Director of Animal Health Services and Education for Noah’s Wish whose singular mission is saving animals in disasters. Jo Ellen oversees and coordinates Shelter and Veterinary care during disasters and organizes the Noah’s Wish Training Program on the national level from pet owners to Emergency Managers. In 1986 Jo Ellen graduated from SUNY Delhi with a degree in Applied Animal Science, and is a Past President of the NYS Assoc of Veterinary Technicians. Disaster experience: 9/11 treating search and rescue dogs at ground zero, Hurricanes Ivan, Gustov, Katrina and Irene, San Diego Wildfires, Catskill NY and North Dakota Floods, Georgia and Arkansas Tornadoes plus logistical support for the Haiti, and Japan Earthquake efforts.
